Apple AirPods are lightweight and handy so most people carry them in their handbags and trousers. However, that also means the charging case could easily accumulate dirt and dust from the environment. Because of the white color of the AirPods and the charging case, any dirt and dust on can be easily seen by naked eyes and could be quite an eyesore. The fact that the AirPods have a lot of magnetic parts inside them means specks of dirt can be attached to these areas and they could be difficult to be removed.
Here's a list of tools required. They can be easily found in your local stores.
1. Microfiber cloth
2. Rubbing alcohol
3. Pointed object (e.g. toothpick)
Step 1: Clean the surface of the AirPods and charging case with a microfiber cloth.
Step 2: Remove any remaining dirt by using a slightly dampen the cloth with rubbing alcohol and a pointed object such as a toothpick.
Step 3: Place the dampen cloth over the cleaning area and use the pointed object to scratch the dirt away.
Step 4: Make sure not to get any liquid in the openings and avoid the metal contacts to prevent damaging your AirPods and charging case.
Step 5: Use alcohol and microfiber cloth to polish the surface.
Step 6: Done!
